Hey people! It's third week of holiday already.
And guess what?
I haven't even started on any of my assignments. Not even even a single shit like writing my name ._. Should really stop procrastinating.
Left with 5 more weeks to the end of holiday and this mean the year is ending soon as well.
2010 passed so fast! Can't imagine taking O's in less than 1 year time. Freaking scary.

Went to Bugis and Far East yesterday with Lipids and Fann yesterday.
Lipids got herself a pair of sandals while Fann bought a vintage sling bang and a denim-like dress.
The dark blue skirt I bought isn't quite nice but well, I guess I don't have much choice either. Blue skirts are either too short (okay for me), or to $$$. I'm not going to spend so much money on a blue skirt that I won't usually wear and not-my-grad-night ._.
I got myself a ribbon rubber as well. Nice! (Y) I like! ^^
I suppose it was a fruitful day, everyone got what they want/need. :)

A big hello to all! -insert a humongous smile-
Bridging is rather slack. Teachers didn't really teach new topics.
And today's social studies was epic. Madam Tang wasn't around, so Madam Nuraida and Madam Wan have to take both E3 and E5. Apparently they wasn't quite happy about it, and Madam Nuraida kinda like indirectly shooting Madam Tang perpetually xD Well, I guess that's understandable, it's like they got an extra bulk of work out of nowhere ._.

This lovely little thing is actually made from this Pocky box. From the box, you can see that it's not any ordinary type of Pocky that you see in the nearest mama shop. It is not only extra thin, as stated on the box, it is also coated with dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. Nice! (Y) ^^

Of course, the price is nice too... exactly 4 bucks ~.~ sufficient for 4 boxes of the normal kind ._. But I supposed that it is worthy. It is always good to try new things ;)

Hey yo! Me and Lipids went back to Concord for CIP yesterday. And Mona Lee actually forgotten about Lipids, I mean totally ._.

Mona Lee: Are you an ex-student?

Lipids was from her form class somemore...
After the CIP, we went to SHOP!
Not for ourselves -.- It's B'day present for other.
I'm like spending more and more $$ for presents, last spent like near $200 last year and I bet this year will be more, probably like $250 x.X

Here's some of my experience. Apparently, I'm not an expert in exams. Otherwise, I wouldn't have to fear for pink form and even retaining. Butbut, I suppose that its good to learn from others mistake as well xD

1. Post-It(s)
Some kind of need that you have to get for yourselves especially when you're in upper sec because There's too much thing to do and remember x.x And its really nice to see colourful squares on your notes, they makes your notes a little less boring and highlight some of the important notes (Y)

Some of my favourites, they are pretty :)

My old PC that's spoilt. But the monitor is a nice spot to stick those reminders :D

2. CANDIES(!!!)
Bought real lots of candies during the exam period because I thought those sweet(some are sour though) little stuff can keep me awake while studying. But I guess they didn't do much help :/ they are only useful for a short period of time. After some time, you'll feel sleepy again ._.

This is exactly how much M&Ms you need to feel a jar full with them. 2 BIG packets!

The entire thing with the jar cost me $15 okay! :O

Look so tempting, right? :]

3. Coffee

I grew ♥ for POKKA Milk Coffee over the exam period. Coffee is really your best companion to study out late with you. ^^

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a cashier hand this little boy some money back.

The boy couldn’t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

The cashier said, “I’m sorry, but you don’t have enough money to buy this doll.”

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ”Granny, are you sure I don’t have enough money?”

The old lady replied: ”You know that you don’t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.”

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly.

The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.

“It’s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her.”

I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her afterall, and not to worry.

But he replied to me sadly. “No, Santa Claus can’t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.”

His eyes were so sad while saying this. “My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.”

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said: “I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.”

Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me “I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won’tforget me. I love my mommy and I wish she doesn’t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister.”

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. “Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?”

“OK,” he said, “I hope I do have enough.” I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough forthe doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: “Thank you God for giving me enough money!”

Then he looked at me and added, “I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so thatmommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!”

“I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn’t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.”

“My mommy loves white roses.”

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.

I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn’t get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl.

The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away.

I couldn’t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.

I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister

is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

Traffic
The drivers in China enjoy horning at each other like nobody’s business =.=
Seriously, it’s like you can hear horning-s almost every second
& this really contribute noise pollution which disturbed my sleep x.x

Transport
Quite inconvenient actually.
No MRT like Singapore
& the bus stops are really far apart from each others man~ x.x
So took taxi to almost everywhere $.$
China is also tooooooooooooooo BIG
Traveling is long and tedious
From Xiamen to Fuzhou – 4hrs
From Fuzhou to Changqing – 3hrs
Seriously will die man~ x.x

Food
I had both lunch-s and dinner-s at restaurant for first 3 days continuously -.-
& it’s at those type of Chinese restaurant where you have reunion dinner
It’s like eating the same food meals after meals
& I really got sick of it x.x
But some are really nice like: 福州鱼丸 & 海犁饼 :P

Shopping
There are very few shopping malls
But shops are all around the streets
Things are cheap
& there’s quite a variety of things
So much that I can’t decide on what to buy :/
& I bought a cello at RMB1400 which is around S$297 ^^v

Communication
I can’t call nor SMS ‘cause it will cost me a bomb >.< plurk =".="">.<

Yesterday's rehearsal was quite fun, tiring and definitely embarrassing >.<

We were watching Chung Cheng High (Main), & David said that their cello's taifeng not very good, so he tell us to own them later. Being an obediant junior, I listen to him & taifeng until bigbig x.x, which turn out that he himself didn't even taifeng much 'cause he's sick & now I become an idiotic freak whom was swaying on stage for an entire hour. What's more, they are going to show the video on tuesday, I will certainly become a xiao bing liao x.x

When she is in the slower mode, she can be creative, remember longer and stack facts in a logical manner. She is more logical this way and can climb mental mountains with a much better grip.

Xiaowei is a practical person whose goals are planned, practical, and down to earth. This is typical of people with normal healthy self-esteem. She needs to visualize the end of a project before she starts. she finds joy in anticipation and planning. Notice that I said she plans everything she is going to do, that doesn't necessarily mean things go as planned. Xiaowei basically feels good about herself. She has a positive self-esteem which contributes to her success. She feels she has the ability to achieve anything she sets her mind to. However, she sets her goals using practicality-- not too "out of reach". She has enough self-confidence to leave a bad situation, yet, she will not take great risks, as they relate to her goals. A good esteem is one key to a happy life. Although there is room for improvement in the confidence catagery, her self-perception is better than average.

Xiaowei has a tendency to put things off, Xiaowei procrastinates. She sometimes pretends to be busy, so she will not have to do whatever she is putting off. She is ~~often late~~ (it's on-time, this is too exaggerating -.-) to appointments or deadlines. This usually leads to a great amount of effort at the last minute to meet the deadline. Procrastination is an important factor as it relates to her output on the job or at school. Remember, Xiaowei will put it off until later. Procrastination is easily overcome through a simple stroke adjustment in the handwriting.

Xiaowei has a healthy imagination and displays a fair amount of trust. She lets new people into her circle of friends. She uses her imagination to understand new ideas, things, and people.
